Obsessing over…
The Hunger Game series. I caved and gave in. I tend to be critical of the "Best Sellers" and this one has captured my attention.

Working on…
A project for Jonas' school that will be auctioned off at a fundraiser this Saturday. It's a collage of his class that has taken me weeks to finish (at least it feels like weeks). Also working on a brochure for an event (fundraiser) that we are having at the restaurant this weekend. Starting to work on a new look for my vintage shop. Sketching ideas and placing orders to start creating my new jewelry line that will launch early spring. Trying to sell our house and looking for a new one. Trying to run at least 3 to 4 times a week. I'm signing up for a half marathon in June. Figuring out how to find time to finish the Hunger Games series. Making sure I spend enough quality time with each of my children everyday, which is my number one goal. All other projects come after this one. Wait, did I brush my teeth today? After this list I can't remember!

Thinking about…
the beach. The salty ocean air and the warm wind that blows through my hair. The children's laughter as they run from waves and the feel of sand between my toes. June cannot come soon enough.

Anticipating…
selling our house and moving roots to another one. Establishing a home, moment by moment and memory by memory. oh, and of course decorating this new home ;)

Listening to…
right now Bon Iver. But I've also been listening to a lot of Elvis Costello, the Dead, Joe Purdy, Angus and Julia Stone and of course Phish. I start to itch this time of the year to see them live. Rumors are starting of tour dates and I anticipate the official release. I hope we can get in as many shows as last year!

Eating…
right now, drinking coffee. Our kitchen is a bit bare so I made a random dinner of quinoa with sauted carrots, mushrooms, onions and kale. I added a little asian sauce and it turned out okay. Tomorrow is grocery store day and I can't wait to load up on goodies.

Wishing…
i knew the secret to staying on top of laundry and keeping up with the house. Wishing clutter didn't exist in my home because it drives me nuts. Also wishing for spring after we get in at least one ski trip. With the weather we've had I don't know that we'll get that trip in.

I am linking up with Chelsey for her self photo challenge.

  3. yikes.. definitely sounds like you are busy, busy!

i know what you mean about being critical about "bestsellers".. but i'm in the same boat.. the hunger games sucked me in haha.. i could not put the darn books down. it was kind of a stressful read for me.. i just needed to know what happened. i read the entire series in less than a week. .. and no i am not a fast reader.. i'm actually the slowest reader i know.. i totally neglected all of my responsibilities to read the books.

  7. I've yet to read The Hunger Game books but I'm seriously planning on borrowing my younger sisters' when she gets back in town so I can quit being so out of the loop. Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine being so busy! I would totally be dreaming of the beach too. I so wish that we had warm beaches around here to take the kids to.
