Transitioning Your Child's Wardrobe

With the change of the season comes a change of the wardrobe, but transitioning your child's clothing does not have to be a difficult task and it does not have to break the bank. For both boys and girls I have found that layers are the key! Most likely your littles are similar to mine and they are active and always on the go. As they move about from their day-to-day activities they are constantly shedding layers and then adding layers as they go from indoor to outdoor actives.

To wear a summer dress into the fall add a long sleeve shirt underneath or a cardigan on top. Pair it with knee high socks or even jeans for a whimsy, creative look. For boys we add a sweater or cardigan and switch out sandals for rain boots or ankle boots.

Another option is to consider pieces that are transitional and can easily transform into new outfits. Pictured above, Jessica wears the Serendipity Dress by Horray Haroo.
