Day three consisted of exploring False Bay, by far the most unique spot that we experienced on the island. Well, maybe. I guess each and every spot was unique and break taking! When low tide arrives you are left with a vast and endless beach to explore. As you walk into the distance your feet leave behind their prints and you quickly disappear into the fog. We didn't find any shells or star fish this day, but we did play in the muddy sand despite the cool breezes.

We felt the salty air run through strands of hair.
We saw the rays of sun sparkle on ocean waters.
We walked, slowly, into the distance, into disappearing sky.
We held hands
we laughed
some cried (poor Josh was cold)
but the splashing sea made us happy.
