focus and film

I dedicated the new year to focusing on words and photographs. Recently, life has been so full I haven't had the chance to sit and write. My desire is strong and I have the urge to write, to tuck myself away in a coffee shop and type my words away.

These next weeks will be about focusing on writing. I've also decided to embrace the time away from my camera and focus on film, an area I have always struggled. Do you use film? Do you have any tips? I'm looking forward to sharing this journey over the next month. Searching on pinterst has been inspiring, but boy does it make me miss my camera!

  1. These photos are gorgeous! You are inspiring me to get my film camera out. I got my grandpas old Nikon when he passed a few years ago. It's a great camera with all the gadgets I could ever want but I don't know much about how to use it. I guess I should just put some film in it and see where it takes me! Hope you had a great weekend! xo

    1. thank you! they were from this summer when i had lots of light and sunshine. i have two older film cameras. a chinon from my brother, which actually takes good photos, and an old nikon from my uncle. i looked up the manual online for the nikon and turns out it's pretty easy to use! now, let's just see if i can manage the manual stuff.
