On this Sunday: The windows are open, the warm summer air rolls in over the clouds and children laugh as they jump in happiness. It's a good day.
Yesterday was one of the those days that was all around good. From the moment you wake up until that very moment when you drift into sleep. A lazy Sunday morning with the kids, bread making, an early afternoon of strawberry picking at my sister's house, swimming and lunch at the pool and then home to prep for dinner with friends. Last night the children ran around the yard with such happiness. It was a moment when you couldn't help but be happy. It was a moment when joy trickled down from the little ones and flowed into the adults.
Sometimes, those children of ours, truly are the key to happiness.
Last night was filled with good conversations with good friends, camping out in tents pitched in the backyard, glowsticks, sparkers, s'mores.
Last night was summer.
